If you go to, for example Thailand, and stay in a villa in Koh Phangan with a breath taking view from the balcony and master bedroom you are more than likely to enjoy your holiday; more than if you are cooped up in a small bungalow with 1 tiny window surrounded by similar badly built bungalows. And the funny thing is that the cost of enjoying good architecture in Thailand and elsewhere is often not expensive. People are often misled by modernity and convenience; they fail to place the proper value on good architecture that it deserves. Good architecture should be at the heart of a happy life, just like love, family and good food.

Trying Different Products

Using the recommendations from magazine, I went down to my local drug store to buy some different products to try out. Since I am in college, I selected the cheapest options in hopes that I wouldn’t have to spend a fortune on the beauty product. The first two brands that I tried were Neutrogena and Olay. It is definitely more expensive than some of the other brands out there, but it is definitely the cheapest one I’ve found for sensitive skin. I’ve been using it twice a day and can definitely notice that my pores look smaller with regular use. And I love that I can even use it to remove my eye makeup since it is very gentle on the skin. This is my primary pore minimizer beauty product, but when I travel for work I have to use something else that meets the 3-fluid ounce maximum set by the TSA.

Estee Lauder Pore Minimizer

The more expensive pore minimizer that works very well is the Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher. I actually first used it because it comes in a 0.24 fluid ounce container, which made it the perfect choice for taking on trips. Since it is such a small container, the price is actually quite high for the amount of the product you receive. I usually pay around $9 for this product when I buy it online, but it is a little more expensive at my local department store. I do love using this pore minimizer because it really leaves my skin looking and feeling great. If I could afford to use this product daily, then I definitely would.

Many artists feel inspired by a different location. It helps them to create. Mike Oldfield was inspired by Ibiza, Ernest Hemmingway by the Caribbean. Gauguin went to French Polynesia to paint.

I, too am inspired by traveling. New places, new cultures, new ways of looking at the world open up. A Thai person on a beach in Koh Samui sees the world very differently from a farmer in Africa. The South America of the indigenous people is vastly different to the view held by a Porteno from Buenos Aires. Only by traveling and experiencing the real wealth of humanity can we hope to grasp the wonder of the multitude.

Traveling pulls us out of the straight jacket of environmental conditioning and makes us see the world afresh. This process is vital for the artist. So if you are suffering writer’s block, painter’s block etc. Don’t worry: pack your bags and head out into the great unknown. This will unblock your conditioning and fire your imagination.

Art takes inspiration from perhaps everything. A little maple leaf that falls from a tree during the fall is as much beautiful to the eyes of an artist as is a full blossom. In fact, nature provides glimpses of the future and can be a monumental source of inspiration. Like nature, it is the people around us too that can be artistically depicted. Life, as such, has always been my biggest inspiration. The several vivid and unnoticed things around that have brought out the best in me.
